Toronto, July 14, 20011.- It has been a busy soccer week at Earlscourt Park. The artificial turf field has had great games since Monday, starting with U13 Toronto Eagles vs Sporting, continuing on Tuesday with a strong match between other U-18 Portuguese Canadian background, with an exhibition of petite # 6 Chico, however his red shirt club was dominated by their white & blue rivals, who scored a 3-1 goals by O'Quinn, Gutta and Jansen. Also, blue defense was outstanding with Owen, Howell and sweeper Marinelli. Arruda was also a great player, even though he was not in perfect shape, but working in his physical stamina he can be a great player at the TSA tournament.
And last night the young women of Mississauga's Dixies S.C. won 4-2 to the experienced Toronto Central OWSL team. Tall Natasha inspired her team and scored two goals in the net defended by GK Carolyn, who also made a lot great savings. Her team is experienced, but the speed of the rivals where not match, even when they had great scoring situation and a fast player, small and speedy # 12.
Today there are three great matches at Earlscourt Park, grass field, at the Toronto Soccer Central Women's League:
14-Jul 6:30 PM Bulldogs vs Thunder
8:00 PM Ballers vs Genesis
9:30 PM Flames vs Majestic
Genesis is the leader with 15 points, followed by Toronto Flames FC with 13, and Thunder and Ballers. The competition is pretty tied and only Bulldogs and Majestic have to get a win, they are in the bottom two teams, but both have great players that need to connect as teamwork.
July 14 at Eglinton Flats has other three great games:
6:30 PM, Phoneix United vs. Miss Strikers
8:30 PM Blue Balls vs She-devils
9:30 PM Strikers vs Yorkies
